A Love of Wines

You know, wine is an interesting thing.  That little fermented beverage has been one of the most popular staples of thousands of cultures for thousands of years.  Its been discusses and exalted in holy texts the world over and can be found dancing along side the honored and their guests at celebrations and rituals.  What is it about wine that keeps its esteem in our ways of life?

For one thing, does relax the soul.  For many cultures, a relaxed and jolly disposition is something that is held dear at sacred and daily dinners, and especially for celebratory events.  When a bride and groom establish their soul and official bonds, offering wine is the families' way of welcome and excitement.  At dinner parties, its the most natural ice breaker there is and allows for more relaxed mood and conversation.

Wine is also holds certain health properties.  One glass of red wine a night is said to protect the heart from coronary disease.  As well, this same remedy is also linked to the prevention of breast cancer in women.

Not only that, it goes well with food.  My mother, who is a phenomenal cook, says that it is one of the best ways to flavor meats of all kinds.  Her smothered chicken includes and nice touch of red wine, served over rice and devoured by everyone in the kitchen.  White wines typically go well with certain types of fish and other poultry dishes.

Most people who are even the most freshman of wine connoisseurs have a style and general flavor that they prefer.  I started off with a palette that appreciated sweeter, fruitier wines.  But the more mature I have become, in age and in my appreciation of the spirit, I go for something slightly on the dry side.  Malbec, which is a Merlot from Argentina, is one of my top picks for a Friday or Saturday night.

What is your favorite wine? When do you typically drink wine?  Are you interested in becoming more of wine connoisseur yourself?  I understand.  It always adds to one's arsenal of learned culture and class.  Have you ever considered a trip to the country of California.  Sonoma happens to be a bucket list trip of mine.  With out vacation club, we have access to exquisite tours and phenomenal wine tastings that last days, with luxurious amenity and an unparalleled education.  You, too can take part in the culture as well, if you are interested.  Just shoot me a message and ask how you can "be down".  Follow me on facebook, too and let me know if you have a favorite wine or memorable wine experience that you would like to share!

We are "trippin" and you should be, too!

You DESERVE to spoil yourself

Lets face it.  You work hard at something!  Whether you're in corporate America, a teacher, a police officer, a baby sitter, a student, a housewife, or an artist, you are grindin' in a certain direction and it takes hard work to succeed.  I know because I'm scrambling those same eggs to create success and wealth for myself.

But why do we do all of that work?  Why do we slave over a computer, in a boardroom or in front of an audience?  Of course to take care of our basic living expenses and education.  But we also do it to get enjoyment and enlightenment from this experience living on Earth.  And lucky us!  Some source of universal intelligence was brilliant enough to give us an all-inclusive Earth that was equipped with all of the wonder, mystery, excitement, beauty, peace that we would need to enjoy this experience.

Why would it be so beautiful?  For its own enjoyment?  Maybe... but I think its more for the inhabitants and those whose eyes, ears and other senses would be able to really enjoy it.   It is your right and duty to explore, embrace and enjoy the globe.  You are supposed to have an incredible life. You were meant to taste the finer things in life.  You DESERVE to be travel this world, to taste its foods, to meet its cultures, to hear its blissful sounds, and to feel its magical powers.  You were not meant to hustle with no reward and slave with no hope for freedom.

But think about it.  We always put it off.  I'll travel when my "money situation improves".  I'll treat myself to fine dining and a show when "its in my budget".  The only problem is that on most peoples' economic plans, sooner always becomes later.  Luckily, there is a way for you to see the world and upgrade your life experiences.  You can "get a life".

You don't have to watch other people enjoy their lives on reality tv and not have the chance to do it yourself.  You don't have to burn in envy when someone else comes back from a week in Spain.  You have the opportunity now to do it yourself, too, on just about any budget.  We shouldn't have to forgo our right to take pleasure in the beauty of the world, and I can show you how you no longer have to.  Look to the right of this page and you'll see my contact information.  In 10 minutes I can show you how you can get your life.  I'd love to share it with you and coach you through the process, when you are ready!

I am "trippin" and you should be, too! ;)

What's Your Kind of Vacation

Tell me, what is the sort of vacation that you would like to go on?  Everyone is into something different and I am curious to hear about your vacation style.  I think that is very important to helping you to narrow down your vacation decision and get the biggest bang for your buck.

For instance, some people are into a lot of adventure.  Shark dives, skiing, and jumping out of planes in parachutes might be your thing!  Maybe you love mountain climbing and deep sea diving, but whatever it is, you crave the adrenaline rush.  There are many destinations that will provide this to as added excursions.  Just ask me about em.  I'll clue you in.

Some people are more into something more mentally stimulating.  Many people want to take in the culture of a destination.  For instance, the music, the architecture, the history, and guided tours are more their speed.  Getting a feel for the marketplace and the communication pace of a culture is huge for some people.  I can help you with that, too!

Now for others, a vacation is all about fun, crazy fun.  These people want to take 400 of their closest friends with them for some heavy duty drinking, dancing and playing violent water polo in the ocean lol!  As long as the music is good and the jerk chicken and rum and steady coming, the trip is all good for them.

Finally, some people are simply into relaxation.  The spas with the stone therapy and essential oil massages are just what they need.  Laying on the beach with a good novel and quiet time are the right speed.  They aren't interested in the party going on half a mile down, the marine life's vast color array or tour of the ancient ruins at one o'clock.  Just give them a glass of wine and a space all by themselves and they have officially begun vacation.

Whats your vacation style?  What is your destination speed?  Regardless of what you prefer, contact me.  Our movement has everything you need without sending you into massive debt.  We have every hint and shade of vacation preference for you and in ten minutes, I can show you how it all works.

Why aren't you traveling more?

I just got off the phone with a loved one.  In a 10 minute conversation, I was able to teach her how she could vacation more and do more exciting things with her husband around the world.  Because of that talk they will be taking a phenomenal Alaskan cruise this summer for 70% less than it would have cost them otherwise.  It made me wonder why others don't travel more.

My entire life, I knew that I should be able to see the world.  There is too much beauty, wonder, history, excitement, culture, food and celebrating that I wanted to experience and be a part of.  When I ask people, "Would you like to travel more?", more often than not, the answer is yes.

For some people its time, but for most people its money.  Well, what if I could obliterate the myth that you have to break the bank to travel?  What if I could show you a way to have the adventures and high quality global experiences that you only thought was just a dream?  Don't believe me.  Well, that's fine.  But at least take a look and prove me wrong.

You give me 10 minutes and I am confident that I can show you how to travel and do much more than that.
You give me 10 minutes and I will expose you to a way for you and your loved ones to have more peak life experiences than 90% of the people around them who haven't talked to me.
You give me 10 minutes and I can help to change your life... upgrade your life.

The world doesn't just belong to the rich and famous.  It belongs to all of Earth's inhabitants.  The beauty in a mountain or an ocean isn't only witnessed by wealthy eyes.  Our eyes can perceive them, too.  Well why not?  Its your birthright to experience your world home.  Let me help you to see it.
Its a movement.  We are "trippin" and you should, be too!

Travel More! Its Good For Your Kids!

When you were a kid, were you able to travel with your family? If so, I bet you remember it vividly don't you? I'll tell you my story. When I was 9 years, and I remember it like it was yesterday, I had the most amazing summer of my life! My father was living in Atlanta at the time so I went to visit him from Houston. He gave me so many amazing peak life experiences from camps in which I learned arts and crafts and archery, and I even got to swim with the other kids in a fantastic lake.

And then, the summer really went into full gear. We took an awesome trip to Florida for a Disney World/ Bahamas Cruise package experience. It was the most incredible time of my life. For 2 and a half days, I got to hug Mickey and Minnie, ride those amazing Disney rides, watch Michael Jackson in 3D in his captain Eyo movie, and even ate authentic Indian food at the Epcot Center.

On the third day, we drove to the coast and boarded a Cruise ship to Abaco Islands, in the Bahamas. I met other kids my age who chased down Chip and Dale on that ship with me, I got to swim and play all sorts of games, and I got to eat escargo (sauteed snail) for the first time... and LOVED IT! Once we docked on our island destination, there was swimming in the ocean under the warm Caribbean sun, there were beach games with other kids, there was a phenomenal cook out at sunset, and we got to watch a woman dance with fire sticks in her mouth and do the limbo under a fire pole, about inches above the ground!

I have never forgotten the fun, the freedom and the fulfillment that this experience gave me. It is still a vivid source of happiness and hope for me and my future. Now, as a mother, these are the types of experiences that I want to provide my 6 year old son. You know why, because he will always remember them. And if you have kids, trust me, it will be as incredible for them, too. I mean think about it. Do you remember all of the toys and gifts that you got for your birthday or for Christmas? Neither do I. But I can recall with animated detail that summer vacation that I got to take. Why? Because it was a peak life experience. And isn't that what we crave in life? Give that to your kids, because they deserve it.
As always, I'm “trippin'” and you should be, too! ;)

A Global Perspective

I think that it is very reviving and exciting to travel. But I also think that it is also important and necessary to do so, as well. St. Augustine said that, “The world is a book, and those who don't travel only read one page”. That is so true. From our vantage point, its easy to think that the world would or should maintain a perspective similar to ours, but its just not that way.

I listened to a man discuss one of the reasons why he made a transition from the United States to Brazil, and he talked about his cultural shift. From the way that the Brazilian people dealt with community economics to cultural etiquette, this particular gentleman preferred the refreshing view point that he got from another country.

As well, I think that we take our lives and our circumstances for granted. I myself am even guilty of this from time to time. We get so caught up in the “woe is me” of our lives and become frustrated with our perceived lack of growth, achievement and increase. But, when we take the time to examine a cultural that is filled with poverty, hunger, and lack of necessary resources for healthy, sustainable communities, its like a slap in the face. An “aha” moment of sorts. It puts things back into perspective for us and we realize that we have more than we think. It also opens our hearts to the possibilities and desire to contribute and give back to our global neighbors in meaningful ways.

It is also great to visit other parts of the world and to learn new and innovative ideas. Other cultures have some pretty interesting perceptions as it relates to family, community and even business. What a great many businesses, non-profit organizations and technological advancements have been created by a broadened world perspective.

But don't forget about the amazing artistic experiences, the delicious foods, exciting tourism, and adventurous excursion activities that we partake in when we are visiting other lands. I personally love to admire the architectural history of other places, such as my experience when I got to visit Poland in college and even my first trip to New York.

Did you know that the way a vacation destination feels is vastly different from what is perceived about it from observing it on the television screen. You have to see it, feel it, breathe, and be a part of it to really get the impact of what the place is like. If you are like me and you just want to see and do more around the world... I'm your girl!

Things Vs. Experiences

A friend of mine told us a story of a college experience that she had. Nikki Giovanni, the famous poet, thinker and professor, visited her Pennsylvania University and made a very profound statement. She told the students that when they graduated, more attention should be given to the purchase of experiences than to things. I found that to be an outstanding statement. Don't get me wrong, I like nice things like everyone else. But, isn't there substantially more value in peak life experiences than 90% of our purchases (minus housing, food, and education, for example).

Well, what if I told you that for less than what most people pay for liabilities, such as expensive cell phones, you could create a peak life experience, at an all inclusive resort? Would you believe me? Would you be willing to take a look at my proof, or would you turn your nose up at the opportunity and miss out? Has skepticism become an ally of yours, whispering negativity in your ear like a jealous friend who won't let you
grow?

Travel is something that everyone wants and deserves to do. And believe me, it is also something that everyone CAN do. And as your “Get A Life Coach”, I am here to help you to make that happen for yourself and your loved ones. The latest electronics and the “flyest clothing are all just fine. Whats on Your Bucket List

Now come on... I know you have something on that bucket list of yours. Where would you go if money weren't an issue?  A warm beach with soft white sand and crystal blue water?  The exquisite land of Dubai with the grandest mall in the world?  Egypt to explore the mysterious and majestic pyramids? India, with one of the richest lands of natural resources?  Skiing in the Alps with a personal instructor?

Okay, so what are you waiting for?  Is it just a dream in your mind that you have given over to the "impossibility".  "Its just too expensive to travel", you say.  "Only the wealthy get to really see the world like I want to".  Well, I'm here to tell you that nothing could be further from the truth.

I am what you would call a "get a life coach".  You get me as your consultant to walk you through the greatest thing since grilled cheese, a way for anyone on any budget to be able to get an upgrade on life.  The globe is now your new playground and you can experience it to the fullest, multiple times.  You can even bring loved ones along for the ride.

Why look at the Australia, Asia, Africa, South America, Europe, and the Caribbean from the television screen when you can just go?!  Why let a teacher tell your kids about the historic land of Greece when you can take them and let them teach the class when they get back?!  Why listen to Rihanna, Kanye and Lady Gaga sing about the Westin Hotel in France when you can stay there yourself?

Listen, closed ears don't get to hear the music.  Closed minds don't get peak life experiences.  And skeptics... well... they make couches in front of television sets nice and warm.  You are none of those things.  You are an extraordinary person who deserves to live an extraordinary life.  Contact me at erin.liggins@gmail.com and write "I want to get a life"" in the subject line or follow me on facebook and shoot me an inbox message.  You have all the help you need.

I am "trippin" and you should be, too! :)

Are you living an extraordinary life?
By: Erin Liggins...The Get a Life Coach

You see the article title? Well? Are you? Are you living an extraordinary life? Are you having peak life experiences? Are you and your family doing all of the fun and exciting things that you all want to do? Are you engaging in some arts and culture? Are you getting to eat at the nice restaurants, see great live shows and getting down at the sports arena like you really want to?

Look, lets get real here. If you are not doing and living those experiences and you don't have a plan of action for creating that sort of lifestyle, you won't be living it next year or the next. But, I only say that to motivate you to think bigger! Do you know that you can have an extraordinary life? Do you know that you can have more “fun, freedom and fulfillment”? Well, you can. Guess what though? You can take your friends and family along for the ride with you?

But guess what else!?  Not only can you experience more in your life, but you can give back in a big way at the same time. Let's face it, we aren't the only ones with dreams and goals for better lifestyles. All around the world, in impoverished, third world nations, people are crying out for some resources and some help. We can work for our dreams while helping others in our global community obtain theirs', as well! What if you had the ability to help build clean water filtration systems or schools in places where there is lack? What if you could support micro-loan programs in Africa and develop safe recreation right here in our own backyards?

But here's the most important question. If you were shown the way to do all of these things, would you hesitate? Would you go into analysis paralysis, procrastinate or be skeptical about your ability to upgrade your life and the lives of those around you? You don't have to, you know. Today, you can say yes to yourself, yes to your family, yes to your friends, yes to your circle of influence, and yes to a struggling world. You can open your heart and have the most fun you have ever had!

Like me on facebook (Erin Liggins) and shoot me a message  or email me at erin.liggins@gmail.com if you want to know more. Just write "I want to get a life" in the subject line.  And just get your mind prepared to say yes to an incredible, amazing, powerful, exciting, extraordinary, upgraded life. LET'S GO!!!!

                                                    Check us out here!
